Press one if (music)

milktreeMy cell phone rang this morning, it was from (800) 233-7515. I answered it and I got a machine that said:
"press one if:" (and then about 2 seconds of music)
"press one if:" (and then about 2 seconds of music)
"press one if:" (and then about 2 seconds of music)
"press one if:" (and then about 2 seconds of music)
"press one if:" (and then about 2 seconds of music)
"press one if:" (and then about 2 seconds of music)
"press one if:" (and then about 2 seconds of music)
"press one if:" (and then about 2 seconds of music)
....
I pressed one and... nothing happened; it just continued as above.
So I hung up. Weird.
The Google says that (800) 233-7515 belongs to "Solomon and Solomon", a debt collection agency. I have no debts that are remotely interesting, so I wonder where they got my number. (and what the music was supposed to mean)
