Kids these days!
Mar. 9th, 2009 03:51 pmYou know how when you were young your mother or father said something like, "put on a coat" or "tie your shoes" or something like that, something you probably thought was over-protective and silly, because, duh, it wasn't cold out and the laces on your shoes were really short anyway?
Well, I just saw a bunch of kids, about 14 or 16 I'd guess, walking down the street in what looked like pajamas. You know, short sleeve top, baggy super-absorbent pants, slippers. Which would be ok if it were July, but it's not. It's March, and it's snowing this nasty wet, gross slush like "snow".
If they were my children, I'd say "put on a coat and proper shoes!" too. But they probably think it's not that cold, and they're not going very far.
