Toccata and Fugue in D minor
Mar. 26th, 2012 12:53 amThese are really pretty neat. We're all familiar with Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, but I'd never seen anyone actually *play* it. Watching the first video makes it clear that we're not paying organists enough. The second video is just the music, but with the notes represented with colored bars. It makes it easier for those of us who can't read music well to see the structure of the piece better. The different colors are different stops/keyboards. I don't know nearly enough about music or pipe organs to pretend to explain it better than that.
