CNN vs. BBC; CNN +1
Aug. 31st, 2010 02:20 pm... but probably not intentionally.
I was in a waiting room this morning that had CNN on the boob-tube. They were covering a test of a new rocket booster, for the next generation shuttle or heavy lifting to the space station (how weird is it to be able to say that, not ironically?) or some other duties. I couldn't really tell, but I could tell that there was some doubt as to the viability of this particular design, or its manufacturer, or something like that..
CNN's headline (footline? it was at the bottom of the screen) was:
I expect stuff like that from the BBC, they have an appreciation for language, and something resembling a sense of humor. Not from CNN.
