I clicked on a Massequality link to send boilerplate email in my name to my state reps, and I got a thank-you email saying the following:

And we have a special bonus offer for you today: make your gift in the amount of $191.30 or more, and we will mail former Governor Mitt Romney a commemorative MassEquality note card letting him know that another supporter of equality is helping to repeal his favorite law.

Seriously? What a bunch of jerks! They're gloating. They're being sore winners. Not only that, it's a complete waste of money.

I sent them email saying as much.
