science fiction/horror... in real life!

.. but not really.

I was cleaning out my office and I ran across a box marked "critters" Sure enough, it's filled with rubber and plastic lizards and frogs and bugs.

Some of the frogs are made of some gooey stretchy rubber stuff, intended to be stretched and pulled:




But then I found the chemical/biological horror movie plot device:



It's like something out of The Fly, they'd been melted and distorted and stuck together and formed to the shapes of the plastic critters near them.
