Seriously, there's a business model (apparently a successful one) of renting rims and tires.
Now, I can see a use for that if you were... say... taking your street car/motorcycle to the track where it would be a really good idea to have sticky track rubber, or well grooved rain tires. But that's not what this is; it's a way to bling up your street car.
