Both wrong.
The real story makes more sense: Both Wright and his wife were on the search warrant (which was signed by a federal judge), and it didn't have anything to do with student loans. Key phrases on the search warrant were, "Financial Aid Fraud, Conspiracy, Theft of Government Funds, False Statement to Government Agency and Wire Fraud." (according to the below article)

So, while I don't advocate complacency, (there are lots of examples of government over-reach and police-state jack-booted-thug tactics) I have to remind myself that if something seems way too outrageous, there's a chance it's not true.
