gay divorce
Now that same-sex marriage is available to anyone from any state, we've got another problem: Same sex divorce.
Seriously. This is kinda stupid.
The problem is that although any couple from any state can get married here in Massachusetts, but if they decide they can't stand wedded bliss anymore, they can't get divorced. Massachusetts requires a one year residency before a divorce, and the couple's home state doesn't recognize the marriage, so they can't do a divorce.
How weird is that?
