I hate upspeak with a fiery passion.
You know, that thing that people do that makes every clause and sentence sound like a question. It's grating. It makes the speaker sound like a moron. It's tough to listen to because things that are supposed to sound declarative sound like questions. It's like listening to half a cell phone conversation 'cuz your brain has to process each bit extra hard to figure out if it's *actually* a question, or just a timid speaker.
