Mormons and Jews...

So, the Mormons believe that the dead can be baptized, even without the body.

The Mormons (gross over generalization) baptize *everyone*. Jews, Catholics, Southern Baptists, Hindus, Buddhists, agnostics, atheists, you name it. They're indiscriminate near as I can tell. I've heard nothing about people like Hitler or Stalin or Pontius Pilot. The Mormons also keep and research *very* good genealogical records, so they really do get *everyone*

Anyway, the Jews (to make another gross generalization) get bent out of shape about this.

I don't get it.

Either the Mormons are right, in which case being baptized can only be a good thing, or they're wrong, and it doesn't matter.

It's like the opposite of exclusionary name calling.
